Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

2110.tools is a free set of tools for engineers working with SMPTE ST 2110 IP media networks. This page explains what data is collected when you use the site and why.

Analytics

The site uses Umami, privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how the tools are used. Umami is cookieless and does not track you across other websites and our instance lives on the same server that hosts 2110.tools.

Data collected automatically on every visit includes: page views, referrer, browser and operating system, screen size, and an approximate country/region derived from your connection at the time of the request. Your IP address itself is not stored.

This data is not linked to any personal profile and cannot be used to identify you individually. All analytics data only ever reaches our server - not Google, not Meta, no one else's.

Session Replay (optional, requires your consent)

With your explicit consent, given via the banner shown on your first visit, the site also keeps an anonymised replay of your session including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and on-screen changes to help identify bugs and usability issues.

Session replay is never active until you accept it via the consent banner. You can decline, and the rest of the site will function normally. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage; clearing your browser data will reset it and the banner will appear again.

Where data is stored

Analytics and session replay data is stored on the same server that hosts and is operated by 2110.tools. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or passed to any third party.
